PB+J Smoothie (gf + vegan)

This smoothie is a simple classic that always hits the spot. It’s filled with nourishing ingredients that will kick start your morning, and keep you full and satisfied until lunch. I love enjoying my smoothies with the toppings piled on super high – big chunks of granola (my favorite is Purely Elizabeth!), unsweetened shredded coconut and of course some cacao nibs. The flavors meld beautifully with this deep purple smoothie.

The Secret GF

Ingredients:

1 banana, frozen in chunks

½ cup frozen mixed berries

1 medjool date

1 heaping tbsp natural peanut butter

½ tbsp chia seeds

1 cup unsweetened almond milk

Toppings: shredded coconut, GF granola, cacao nibs 

Steps:

  1. Combine all ingredients (except toppings) into a bender and blend until smooth.

  2. Serve with coconut, granola and cacao nibs sprinkled on top.
